Ingredients 

  • 7 fresh tomatillos, husked and rinsed
  • 1 medium onion, quartered
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 1 serrano pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, unpeeled
  • 1 handful fresh cilantro
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat the broiler and position the oven rack about 6 inches below the heat source. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Place the tomatillos, onion, jalapeño, serrano pepper, and garlic on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
