This Cheesy Crab Melt combines simple ingredients with classic seafood flavors to create a quick and satisfying meal. The combination of Gruyere, Cheddar, and seasoned crab creates the perfect balance of creamy, savory, and cheesy in every bite.
What Is a Cheesy Crab Melt?
A crab melt sandwich is a hot seafood sandwich made with seasoned crab meat and melted cheese, layered between slices of bread, then cooked until golden brown and crispy.
Much like a tuna melt, a Cheesy Crab Melt combines a creamy seafood filling with plenty of cheese. The sandwich is then grilled until the bread becomes crisp and the filling is hot and bubbly.
The result is a rich, flavorful seafood-grilled-cheese sandwich that’s both comforting and impressive.
