  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 boxes Macaroni and Cheese dinner, 7.25 oz. each
  • ½ cup butter, (1 stick)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce, or more to taste
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese, shredded, (2 oz.)
  • 12 ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions 

  • Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks, until no longer pink. Drain excess grease if needed. Set aside.
