Ocean Water

If you’re at all familiar with me, you know I totally dig fun and fruity drinks. One of our favorites summer drinks is my Copycat Sonic Ocean Water.

I wanted to make that drink into a cocktail. It was so good, I had to share it with y’all. I know you’re going to love it, too!

You’ll only need a couple of ingredients to make this. The blue color is so fun. This cocktail is sweet, fruity, and immediately transports you to the beach!

How to make for a large crowd

This recipe is easily doubled, tripled, etc. Mix all of the ingredients in a large pitcher and refrigerate. When ready to serve, give it another stir and pour it over ice into individual glasses.

Recipe Tips

  • Swedish Fish makes a fun addition to carrying on the “ocean” theme. Drop one or two into the glass!
  • This recipe was also tested with regular white rum, and it was still good. However, I suggest adding simple syrup if you use regular white rum because the coconut rum adds sweetness regular white rum does not.

Amazing! Everyone loved it at our beach retreat. Perfect for our long weekend away at Morro Bay, CA. Delicious- everyone asked for seconds during our card game!

Looks good but 1/4 cup = 2 ounces, why use multiple units in the same recipe?
