Simple Syrup

This might be the easiest recipe ever – but I feel like it’s one worth sharing! If you’ve never heard this recipe or have never made it, then this is for you. When I found out about it, it felt life-changing!

Personally, I hate stirring sugar into a drink and having that gritty feel and taste. I know y’all know what I’m talking about! This Simple Syrup recipe is the trick to sweeten your drink without the grit!

Basically, you take equal parts of water and granulated sugar to create this mixture that you can use in cocktails, tea, lemonade, coffee, etc. One of the things I love is that you can add in citrus, or mint, vanilla (or other flavors), to create different syrup flavors!

While you could buy this premade – don’t!! It’s so easy to make at home! Plus, you are literally paying for sugar water. Make it yourself and save a little bit of money!
