Healthy & Easy Green Smoothie
It’s the last day of 2013, and can you believe it?! This year has just flown by! I know many of us are looking forward to 2014 – and we have made goals or resolutions to be healthier in the New Year! This Healthy and Easy Green Smoothie will help you get off to a great start!
My kiddos aren’t very fond of the idea of having a smoothie, and I don’t add a lot of spinach for them – just enough for some healthy benefits without them refusing to drink it! If your family is ok with the color and the idea of spinach being in their smoothie, feel free to add more spinach to your family’s tastes!
- 1/2 cup frozen fruit (any kind you like!)
- 1 medium banana
- 1 cup low-fat yogurt (any kind you like!)
- Handful of baby spinach
- 1 tbsp. honey (optional)
- Splash of juice or milk (optional - depending on how thick you like it)
- Add all ingredients to blender. Cover and blend until smooth.
