Chocolate Coconut Green Smoothie with Carnation Breakfast Essentials
Breakfast is always a hectic time at our house. Not being a breakfast eater my self, I try to find quick, easy and nutritious options that I know the kiddos will enjoy. It also helps when it’s something easy enough for the kids to make themselves! My kiddos really enjoy smoothies, so it seems like we’re trying new recipes fairly often.
The other day, we stopped at Safeway to pick up some things for breakfast this coming week. Carnation Breakfast Essentials provides 21 vitamins and minerals, along with 13g of protein. It even has as much calcium as a 6 oz. cup of yogurt.

Since Carnation Breakfast Essentials powder has a great taste and comes in many flavors – such as Rich Milk Chocolate, Classic French Vanilla, Classic Chocolate Malt, Dark Chocolate (my fave!!), Strawberry Sensation, and the variety pack which has multiple flavors! Carnation Breakfast Essentials is also available in a variety of ready-to-drink shakes, powders and bars!

When you get the variety pack, you could easily come up with some really fun, nutritious and delicious smoothie recipes! My boys really want me to make a strawberry cheesecake flavored smoothie next ….. I can’t wait to try that one next! 🙂
