❓ FAQs

Do I have to add nuts?

No, you can skip them and still have great flavor.

Can I add caramel inside the brownies instead of on top?

You can add a small caramel candy to the batter to make a molten center.

How do I know when the turtle brownie bites are done?

The edges will pull away from the pan, and the centers will look set.

Do I need to use mini muffin liners?

No, as long as the pan is well greased, the brownies release easily.

Can I make these ahead for a party?

Yes, they hold up well for a day or two and stay soft when stored in an airtight container.

Can I double the recipe?

Absolutely. Double all ingredients and bake in multiple batches.

Will silicone pans work for the bite size desserts?

Yes, but bake time may be slightly shorter because silicone heats differently.

How do I keep the Rolos from sinking too much?

Press them in gently, not all the way down, while the brownies are hot.

Does this brownie bites recipe need to be refrigerated?

No, room temperature storage works fine unless you live in very warm conditions.
