Notes
🥡 STORAGE
Store brownie bites in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Keep them at room temperature for the best texture.
♨️ REHEATING
Microwave: Warm one brownie bite for about 5-7 seconds to soften the caramel.
Air fryer: Heat at 300°F for 1-2 minutes.
Oven: Warm at 300°F for 3-4 minutes.
❄️ FREEZING
Freeze in a single layer, then move to a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
Thaw at room temperature.
Frozen dough does not apply, but fully baked brownie bites freeze very well.
💡 TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Mix gently so the brownies stay moist.
Do not overbake or they will dry out.
Add the Rolos right away so they soften into the warm brownies.
Use a toothpick test to check doneness.
🍳 ALTERNATE COOKING METHODS
The oven is the primary method for this recipe.
If needed, you can bake these in a countertop convection oven, reducing the bake time by 2-3 minutes.
♻️ LEFTOVERS
Use leftover brownie bites as a topping for ice cream.
Chop them and mix into yogurt or pudding for a fun treat.
📝 NOTES
Adding pudding mix gives a fudgy texture.
Caramel drizzle and sea salt enhance the turtle flavor.
You can swap in any chopped nuts you prefer.
