Southwest Bubble Bake

Have y'all ever hear of a "bubble bake" before? For those of you who may not have, it's basically biscuits topped with any assortment of ingredients and then baked. To me, it's is similar to a deep dish pizza - kinda. Since my family enjoys Mexican and Southwest inspired food, I decided to make a Southwest Bubble Bake - it's super duper easy and it's oooh, so good. But don't take my word for it, go ahead and make one for yourself! :)

  1. Visiting from Marvelous Mondays. Question: how are you sure the biscuit dough bakes through? I've had less than stellar results with recipes like this, but it looks so yummy!

    1. Great question, Nicole! I have never had a problem, but you could cut a small slit and check the biscuits if you need to! Since they cook for 30 minutes, they should be thoroughly cooked :)

  3. Thought a bubble cake was something with sort of round airy buns on top of a flatter bread :-) Looks great !

  7. Love the bubble recipes for super quick and super easy busy weeknight meals! We make a bubble pizza one and a bubble chili dog. Usually good for using up leftovers like chili and spaghetti sauce. This looks great! Will add it to my list! :)
