Key Ingredients

All-Purpose Flour

All-purpose flour forms the base of the muffin batter and provides structure. It helps create a soft, tender crumb while evenly distributing the pizza fillings throughout the muffins.

Italian Seasoning

Italian seasoning brings classic pizza flavor to the batter. The blend of dried herbs adds a savory aroma that pairs perfectly with cheese and pepperoni.

Cornmeal

Cornmeal gives the muffins a subtle texture and a slightly hearty bite. It also helps balance the soft muffin interior with a bit of structure.

Mozzarella Cheese

Mozzarella cheese melts beautifully and adds the classic stretchy, cheesy flavor people expect from pizza. It also helps create those irresistible golden tops.

Pepperoni

Pepperoni adds a savory, slightly spicy bite to these pizza muffins. Cutting the slices into quarters helps distribute the flavor throughout the batter.

Pizza Sauce

Pizza sauce adds moisture and that unmistakable pizza flavor. Swirling a little sauce on top before baking adds extra flavor and visual appeal.

Eggs

Eggs help bind the batter and give the muffins structure. They also contribute to the soft texture.

Whole Milk

Whole milk provides moisture and richness, helping create a tender, non-dry muffin.

How to Reheat Pizza Muffins

Reheat Pizza Muffins in the microwave for 20-30 seconds for a quick option. For a better texture, warm them in a 325°F oven for 8-10 minutes or in the air fryer at 325°F for 3-4 minutes.

How to Make Pizza Muffins

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 12-cup muffin pan.
