Bacon Crackers: FAQs

➡️ How to store Bacon Crackers?

In a ziptop bag or airtight container in the refrigerator.

➡️ How long are Bacon Crackers good for?

They never last very long whenever we share them! But should you need to store them, they are okay at room temperature for a couple of hours. You can refrigerate them for longer – about 3 days. You can heat them up slightly again in the oven if you want.

➡️ Can these be made ahead and frozen?

Actually, yes! Prepare the recipe as directed and allow the crackers to cool completely. Place the crackers in a large ziptop bag or airtight freezer-safe container for up to one month. When ready to serve, thaw the crackers and place them on a baking sheet in a 250F oven for about 10-15 minutes or until heated through.

➡️ Can I use a different kind of cracker?

Sure! This recipe calls for club crackers, but any buttery kind of cracker would be great in this recipe.

Really enjoyed these! Thanks for the recipe. I made 3 different kinds, this one with the sugar on top, the other 2 were under the bacon- parmesan and cream cheese. The cream cheese was our least favorite, it was rather plain.

  5. Jeremy says:

Try them on a pellet grill if you have one. As good as they are in the oven, they’re better with a little smoke in the flavor.

250 seems kind of low even if it’s for an hour
