  • 6 apples, honey crisp or your choice
  • 1 lemon, cut in half
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cubed small
