Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake

This Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake brilliantly marries two of America’s favorite comfort foods: apple cinnamon rolls and a classic apple pie.

Imagine the fluffy texture of baked apple cinnamon rolls paired with the tartness of apple pie filling. Yes, it’s as delectable as it sounds!

One of the best things about this dish is its accessibility. For those looking for simple yet mouthwatering recipes with Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, look no further. These pre-made cinnamon rolls act as a perfect base, saving you time without skimping on flavor. Why bake cinnamon rolls from scratch when you can accelerate the process without sacrificing taste?

Another star element is the Granny Smith apples. Their tartness perfectly complements the sweet and spicy layers of cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling. The contrast between the pillowy rolls and the slightly tangy apple filling strikes a delicious balance that tantalizes your palate.

Let’s not forget the crowning glory – the crumble topping! It adds a crunchy texture to the moist layers below, making every bite a delightful experience. Combining rolled oats, light brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon, this topping enhances the baked apple cinnamon rolls and elevates the dish to heavenly status.

This Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake is a game-changer for family gatherings, brunches, and even as a unique dessert option. And the best part? The total time from prep to plate is just 60 minutes.

Now you don’t have to choose between bake cinnamon rolls and a classic apple pie; this dish offers the best of both worlds!

So, why settle for one when you can have the best of both worlds?

Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake: FAQs

➡️ Can I use a different type of apple?

While the recipe calls for Granny Smith apples for their tartness, you can use other types. However, the flavor profile may change. Gala or Honeycrisp apples are good alternatives.

➡️ What can I use instead of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls?

If you’re looking for recipes with Pillsbury cinnamon rolls but can’t find them, store-brand refrigerated cinnamon rolls should work fine. You can also use homemade cinnamon rolls, although this will extend the prep time.

➡️ Do I have to use the crumble topping?

The crumble topping adds a nice crunchy contrast to the soft baked apple cinnamon rolls. However, it’s optional. You can also experiment with nuts or a streusel topping.

➡️ Can I make this dish ahead of time?

You can prepare the cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling in advance but wait to bake cinnamon rolls with the apple mixture until you’re ready to serve. It’s best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.

➡️ How should I store leftovers?

Store any leftover Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake in a sealed food-safe container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days. It’s best when reheated before serving.

Certainly! Some people enjoy adding raisins or nuts for added texture. You can also spice it up with nutmeg or cloves.

➡️ What’s the best way to serve this dish?

It’s perfect for brunch or dessert. Optional toppings include icing from the cinnamon roll packages or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

➡️ Is it kid-friendly?

This dish is a hit with people of all ages. The familiar taste of cinnamon rolls combined with the all-American favorite, apple pie filling, makes it a universally loved treat.

➡️ Can I make it gluten-free?

Yes, you can substitute the all-purpose flour in the crumble topping with a gluten-free version and use gluten-free cinnamon rolls.
