Homemade caramel sauce is heaven on earth! Whenever I make this, I swear I hear angels singing. This makes quite a bit, but it keeps well in the refrigerator. Use it to top ice cream, cake, gingerbread or in all your recipes that use caramel. You could also just grab a spoon .... no one will judge. ;)
