Maple Bacon Butter

Words cannot describe how magical this is. It’s magical, y’all. Slather this yummy butter on toast, pancakes, waffles or add it to baked sweet potatoes – you’ll be sooooo glad you did!

Brian and my kiddos are all fans of breakfast food ….. and I score major cool mom points when I make this! We also love it spread on yeasty rolls too! One taste and you’ll be looking for things to spread it on!

Maple Bacon Butter

Maple Bacon Butter – It only takes 3 ingredients to take your butter from blah to WOW!!! Great on top of sweet potatoes, toast, waffles or pancakes.

Ingredients 

  • 2 slices bacon
  • ½ cup Challenge Butter, softened, 1 stick
  • 2 tablespoons real maple syrup

Instructions 

  • Cook bacon in a skillet until desired crispness. Remove bacon to paper towels to drain and cool. Reserve bacon grease.
  • Beat butter on low speed with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add the maple syrup and reserved bacon grease. Crumble the bacon into the butter. Mix until well combined.
  • Use immediately or refrigerate.

Notes

  • Use this as a stepping off point – maybe honey in place of syrup.

    This sounds amazing! Can’t wait to make this ! Spring break is coming & my kids & grandkids will be here for a week & we do a big breakfast so we can spend the day at the river exploring & playing. They will love this & trying it on almonds of goodies! But I gotta be honest,
    My 1st thought when I saw this was …POPCORN!

    Omg I just had Maple Bacon Butter for the chicken n waffles I ordered at The Troll 'rant in my city. I asked for more because I dipped my sweet potato tater tots in it!! Smh. The BEST tots on Earth. Thank you SO MUCH for this butter recipe! I'm thinking…a GREAT Hostess Gift.
