Holiday Sangria: FAQs
Absolutely! Feel free to mix it up a bit! Cranberries, pears, pomegranate seeds, and limes would all make great additions.
Sure! Brandy would be a great thing to add. Grand Mariner is delicious too! I’d start off with about 1/4-cup and adjust to taste from there. On a side note, a splash of ginger ale or lemon-lime soda is delicious, too!
I actually encourage you to! Although the minimum time is about two hours, leaving it refrigerated for about eight hours (or overnight) really gives all of the ingredients time to really become acquainted! You’ll better be able to taste ALL of the flavors if you give them more time to mingle together.
I would use whatever kind you like! This particular recipe calls for a sweet red wine blend, but if you prefer Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Moscato, or something else, feel free to use that instead.
