Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie

This is my favorite smoothie to date. I love that it’s filling and the flavor is perfect! I also love feeling like I’m not cheating myself out of something, because this yummy little treat satisfies my “sweet” craving while still letting me eat “healthy.”

Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie

Get your day off to a great start with this Strawberry Banana Oatmeal Smoothie! Full of protein, vitamin c, fiber, folate, potassium and low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium! Drink up!

Ingredients 

  • ½ cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup strawberry flavored Greek yogurt
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 10 frozen strawberries
  • 2 fresh strawberries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions 

  • Place the oatmeal in a blender. Cover and process until the oatmeal resembles flour. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover and process until fully combined.
  • Pour the smoothie mixture into serving glasses. Garnish with a fresh strawberry, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Play with what fruit is frozen or not to get the desired texture in your finished smoothie.
