Our backyard renovations are coming along nicely!! So far, we have plants and rocks, and we added a low wall around the pool equipment. The patio area is still a work-in-progress, but as you can see below, it’s coming along nicely! I can’t wait to have a place to enjoy dinner outside once it’s all complete!

Having a new area for entertaining made me think about adding some other fun new things – like a snow-cone machine and a cotton candy machine! Seriously, we will have the coolest place to hang out this summer! We couldn’t wait for the patio to be finished to try out the new cotton candy machine …. and while the kiddos enjoyed their cotton candy, I made some for myself and whipped up this fantastic Cotton Candy Shooter! I know we’ll be enjoying plenty more cotton candy this year and well into the future! I may have gone crazy buying all of the different floss sugar flavors to try …. just maybe I did! So far we’ve tried the bubble gum and blue raspberry flavors …. next up is banana, lime or pina colada!! Mmmmmmm!

If you don’t have a cotton candy machine at home, there are so many to choose from at Wayfair.com. I got our cotton candy machine there and I also ordered some (okay, lots of!!) floss sugar and cotton candy cones! I have to be prepared, right?!

Ingredients 

1x2x3x

• ▢ 1 ½ ounce cotton candy flavored vodka
• ▢ 1 ½ ounce heavy cream
• ▢ splash Grenadine for pink or Blue Curacao for blue
• ▢ Cotton Candy

Cook ModePrevent your screen from going dark

Instructions 

• Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
• Add the vodka, cream, and Grenadine or Blue Curacao and shake well.
• Pour mixture into a glass. Garnish with cotton candy.
• Serve immediately.

Notes

• Make sure and pick a cotton candy color to go with your drink!
