Lay the bacon out on the cooling rack so that the pieces are not touching each other.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until bacon reaches desired crispness.
Remove the bacon from cooling rack to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Notes
If you do not have a cooling rack, you can line your baking sheet with aluminum foil and place your bacon directly on the foil. Do not overlap the edges. Proceed as stated in the recipe.
You must choose a baking sheet with a rim so the grease does not fall into the oven and potentially start a fire.
When making bacon in advance to reheat at a later date, it's best to undercook to your desired crispiness slightly; that way, it can finish cooking and reach your desired crispiness with the final reheating.
