Ingredients

bottle
red wine
750-ml.
1
orange
sliced into rounds (if you would like it sweeter then peel oranges)
4
whole cloves
2
cinnamon sticks
3
pieces
star anise
¼
cup
honey
½
cup
brandy
optional
Instructions
In a large saucepan bring wine, orange, cloves, cinnamon sticks, star anise, honey and brandy to a low boil.
Reduce to a simmer and simmer on medium-low heat for about 10 minutes.
Serve warm and garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
Notes
This recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc pretty easily.
