Ingredients
8cupspopcornpopped
4tablespoonsbutter1/2 stick
3tablespoonslight corn syrup
½cuppacked brown sugar
1packageyour favorite Jello flavor (I used Cherry and Lime)3 oz.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Line a 15x10x1-inch baking sheet with waxed paper. Place the popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.
In a small saucepan, cook the butter and corn syrup until the butter is melted. Add the sugar and Jello. Stir until the Jello is completely dissolved. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Immediately pour the Jello mixture over the popcorn; toss to coat well. Spread into the prepared pan and use 2 forks to spread the mixture out as evenly as you can.
Bake for 10 minutes. Cool.
Remove from the pan and break into small pieces.
Notes
Make sure and let cool completely before "breaking" apart or it will be too messy.
