Ingredients
¼cupbutter4 tablespoons or 1/2 stick
1cupheavy cream
2clovesgarlicminced
1 ½cupfreshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the heavy cream and allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes. Add the garlic and Parmesan and whisk continuously until the cheese in completely melted.
Use in your favorite recipe or serve with cooked pasta of your choice.
Notes
Always use freshly shredded cheese, NOT the stuff in a can!
This can be reheated, but I highly recommend doing so over a medium heat on the stove so you can stir and keep an eye on it.
