🥡 STORAGE
Store frosted cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
Refrigerate for up to 4 days if using a buttercream that contains dairy.
♨️ REHEATING
Let refrigerated cupcakes sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving.
Avoid microwaving once frosted.
❄️ FREEZING
Freeze unfrosted cupcakes for up to 2 months.
Thaw completely, then frost and decorate before serving.
💡 TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Use room-temperature eggs for a smoother batter.
Do not overfill the liners to prevent overflow.
Add the cherry cordial just before serving for the best texture.
🍳 ALTERNATE COOKING METHODS
Air fryer:
Cook cupcakes at 320°F for 12-15 minutes using silicone liners or an air fryer-safe cupcake pan. Cool completely before frosting.
♻️ LEFTOVERS
Leftover cupcakes can be crumbled and used as layers in a dessert parfait.
📝 NOTES
Hot coffee enhances the chocolate flavor without adding a coffee taste.
Pipe frosting high enough so the cherry cordial sits securely on top.
The nutritional information provided is for the cupcakes with frosting, excluding the candy topping.
