Burger Bombs

cut into 8 cubes

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium skillet over medium heat, warm the olive oil until it shimmers.

Add the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook, breaking the meat into crumbles, until fully browned.

Drain grease, then stir in the ketchup. Remove from heat and set aside.

Flatten each thawed dinner roll using your fingers until about double in size.

Add about 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture to the center of each piece of dough. Top with one cube of cheese.
3 ounces mild cheddar cheese
Bring the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching and twisting to seal completely.
Place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water. Brush over the tops of each roll. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Serve warm with ketchup or mustard.

🥡 STORAGE
Store cooled burger bombs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
Keep sauces separate until ready to serve
♨️ REHEATING
Oven: Reheat at 350°F for about 10 minutes until warmed through
Microwave: Heat for about 30 seconds, then rest 1 minute before serving
Air fryer: Reheat at 350°F for 3-5 minutes until warm and slightly crisp
❄️ FREEZING
Freeze fully cooked and cooled burger bombs in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months
Thaw completely before reheating for the best texture
💡 TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Drain the grease well to avoid a soggy filling
Seal the dough tightly so they do not open while baking
Do not overfill or the dough may tear
Use evenly sized portions for consistent baking
