Notes
To make the smoothie bowl thick, more like soft-serve ice cream consistency, and easier to eat with a spoon, be sure to freeze the yogurt, as well.
For the smoothie bowl, you can experiment with different fruit combinations, such as adding strawberries, raspberries, or mangoes. You can also incorporate superfoods like spinach or kale for added nutrition.
The topping choices are flexible. You can use different fruits, nuts, seeds, or granola based on what you have on hand or your personal taste. Some popular options include strawberries, raspberries, sliced almonds, walnuts, honey, or maple syrup.
If you prefer a sweeter smoothie bowl, you can add a drizzle of honey, agave syrup, or maple syrup. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.
To boost the protein content, you can add a scoop of your favorite protein powder, such as whey, pea, or hemp protein.
