⅓cupcreamy peanut butter(IMPORTANT that it is xylitol-free
½cupstrawberries(5-6 strawberries), finely diced
1mashed banana
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, large egg, peanut butter, diced strawberries, and mashed banana.
1⅓ cups all-purpose flour, ½ cup quick oats, 1 large egg, ⅓ cup creamy peanut butter, ½ cup strawberries, 1 mashed banana
Mix until everything is fully incorporated and a dough forms. A Danish dough whisk works well, but a sturdy spoon also works. If needed, mix with clean hands to incorporate any dry flour.
If the dough feels sticky, refrigerate it for 20-30 minutes. This step is optional but makes the dough easier to roll.
Lightly flour a work surface with 1 tablespoon flour. Place the dough on top and sprinkle another 1 tablespoon flour over the dough.
Roll the dough to ½-inch thickness.
Cut shapes using a cookie cutter. Dip the cutter in flour if the dough sticks.
Place the treats on the prepared baking sheet. These dog treats without sugar will not spread, so they can be placed fairly close together as long as they are not touching.
Bake for 25-28 minutes, or until the treats are firm and lightly golden on the bottom.
Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

💡 TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Use xylitol-free peanut butter for dog safety.
Finely dice strawberries so they distribute evenly in the dough.
Chill the dough if it becomes sticky or difficult to roll.
Roll slightly thinner than ½ inch for crunchier strawberry treats for dogs.
🍳 ALTERNATE COOKING METHODS
Dehydrator-style crunch: Bake for 20 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave the treats inside with the door slightly open for 1-2 hours.
♻️ LEFTOVERS
Break leftover dog treats with strawberries into smaller pieces for training treats.
Crumble treats and sprinkle them over your dog's food for an occasional topper.
📝 NOTES
These Strawberry Banana Dog Treats are naturally sweet from fruit and contain no added sugar.
Because these are dog treats with fruit, the dough texture may vary depending on the ripeness of the banana and strawberries.
If using a small cookie scoop instead of cutters, scoop about 2 teaspoons of dough per treat and bake 24-25 minutes.
