Ingredients
⅓cupsoy sauce
4clovesgarlicminced
2tablespoonsbrown sugar
1tablespoonfreshly grated ginger
1 - 2teaspoonsSriracha saucedepending on how spicy you like it
¼teaspoonwhite pepper
2packageschow mein stir-fry noodles6 oz. each
2tablespoonsolive oil
1lb.boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighscut into thin strips
1mediumoniondiced
3stalks celerysliced
3cupsshredded cabbage
Instructions
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, ginger, Sriracha sauce and white pepper. Set aside.
Cook chow mein noodles according to package directions and drain.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken pieces until no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Add the onion and celery, stirring often, until tender, about 3-4 minutes. Add the cabbage and stir-fry for one minute. Add the drained noodles and the soy sauce mixture. Use tongs to toss and combine until the ingredients are mixed. Serve immediately.
Notes
If you can't find chow Mein noodles, you can use spaghetti in a pinch.
