In a medium skillet over medium heat, combine the ground beef and water.
1 pound ground beef, ⅓ cup water
Break up the ground beef constantly as it cooks until the meat is in very fine crumbles.
Drain off any remaining water and grease.
Transfer the cooked beef to the slow cooker.
Add the tomato sauce, ketchup, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, black pepper, granulated sugar, and onion powder. Stir well to combine.
5 ounces tomato sauce, ½ cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons chili powder, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, ½ teaspoon granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon onion powder
Cover and cook on LOW for 2 to 2½ hours.
Stir before serving.
Serve over hot dogs, French fries, or burgers.
