tablespoons
pumpkin puree
3
tablespoons
pure maple syrup
¼
teaspoon
pumpkin pie spice
¼
teaspoon
vanilla extract
Instructions
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the half and half, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.
Stir frequently and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
Once simmering, remove from heat and let the creamer cool slightly.
Transfer to a storage container. Use immediately or refrigerate for later use.
Notes
🥡 STORAGE
Refrigerate the creamer in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Shake gently before each use as the spices will naturally settle.
♨️ REHEATING
Microwave: Warm in a microwave-safe container for 15-20 seconds.
Stovetop: Reheat in a small saucepan over low heat until warmed through.
❄️ FREEZING
Freezing is not recommended, as the texture may become grainy when thawed.
💡 TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS
Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup to taste.
Add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth.
🍳 ALTERNATE COOKING METHODS
Microwave: Mix all ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second bursts, stirring between each burst, until warm.
♻️ LEFTOVERS
Use leftovers in oatmeal, pancakes, or baked goods for added flavor.
Add to iced coffee for a fall-inspired treat.
