Notes
🥡 Storage
Allow the sauce to cool before transferring it to an airtight container.
Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
Keep the sauce refrigerated when it is not being served.
♨️ Reheating
Reheating is not necessary when using OMG Sauce as a dipping sauce or condiment.
If you prefer it warm, gently heat the amount you need in a small saucepan.
❄️ Freezing
Freezing is not recommended for this sauce. For the best flavor and consistency, make it fresh and store it in the refrigerator.
💡 Tips for Best Results
Use a barbecue sauce you already love since it provides most of the sauce's base flavor.
Stir occasionally while simmering to prevent scorching.
Adjust the amount of hot sauce according to your preferred spice level.
Allow the sauce to cool before transferring it to an airtight container.
🍳 Alternate Cooking Methods
No alternate cooking method is recommended. The stovetop allows the sauce to simmer gently while the flavors combine.
♻️ Leftovers
Use leftover sauce for dipping fries, onion rings, chicken nuggets, or wings.
Spoon it onto burgers or chicken sandwiches.
Use it anywhere you would normally use barbecue sauce.
📝 Notes
Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce is recommended, but you can use your favorite barbecue sauce.
The finished flavor will vary depending on the barbecue sauce and hot sauce you choose.
Adjust the hot sauce to taste.
