2cansrefrigerated crescent roll dough10 ounces each
1packagecream cheese, diced8 ounces
½cupgranulated sugar
1tablespoonsour cream
1teaspoonlemon juice
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1cuppowdered sugar
1tablespoonmilk or half and half
1tablespoonbuttersoftened
¼teaspoonalmond extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Line the bottom of the baking pan with one can of crescent rolls. Pinch all seams together to seal.
In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, granulated sugar, sour cream, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Spread the filling on top of the crescent dough. Place the second can of dough on top of the filling.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, stir together confectioners' sugar, milk, butter, and almond extract.
After the danish has cooled, drizzle with icing.
Notes
You can enjoy this pastry cold, at room temperature, or heated up.
