Put the oil and milk in a pan and heat until bubbly.
Add the Parmesan and cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth
Stir in the Italian seasoning and salt; continue to cook over medium heat for at least 2 more minutes while stirring to thicken.
Serve with pasta or other recipes using Alfredo sauce.
Notes
For a tomato cream sauce, add 1 cup marinara sauce with the Italian seasoning.
Store any leftover Alfredo sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat it gently on the stove or in the microwave, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
Freezing is NOT recommended for this recipe. It's best to enjoy this Alfredo sauce fresh, as dairy-based sauces like this one may not freeze well and can separate when thawed.
