Turkey Avocado Bacon Tomato Sandwich

Shake up your lunch menu with this Turkey Avocado Bacon Tomato Sandwich! Makes an easy and light dinner idea too!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Oroweat® Whole Grains 100% Whole Wheat Bread
  • 1 medium avocado, mashed
  • 6-8 slices thinly sliced pepper turkey
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and broken in half
  • 4 slices tomato

Instructions

  1. Toast bread to desired darkness.
  2. Divide the mashed avocado between the two slices of toast, spreading evenly. Top each sandwich with 3 or 4 turkey slices. Divide the bacon between the sandwiches. Top each sandwich with 2 tomatoes. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

To quickly cook the bacon, I love to use my microwave! Line a plate with several layers of paper towels. Lay 4 slices of bacon on the paper towels. Cover with another paper towel. Microwave on full power until bacon is at desired crispness. (In my microwave, it take about 3 to 3-1/2 minutes!)
