Meet Sarah from Fantastical Sharing of Recipes

Hi y'all! While I'm moving and getting adjusted, some of my bloggy friends have written posts for me! I hope you enjoy this series and find some wonderful new blogs to follow! A big hug and thank you to the bloggers who have stepped in for me during my absence. :) Today, let me introduce you to Sarah from Fantastical Sharing of Recipes:

Hello Love Bakes Good Cakes fans! I’m Sarah – I blog over at Fantastical Sharing of Recipes. On my blog, you’ll find a variety of recipes that myself, my husband, and my kids love. Our tastes have evolved over the last 2 1/2 years and now many of our meals are made from scratch as much as possible and using fresh ingredients.

Today, I thought it would be an appropriate and fitting to share my favorite copycat recipes. Like I said above, my family enjoys from scratch, fresh meals. I make dinner every night and it’s rare that we eat fast food or at a restaurant. This doesn’t mean that we don’t love some of the things they serve. I think we can all agree that making copycat recipes is the way to go! You can control ingredients and portions. Plus homemade just tastes better, right?

Here are some of my favorite, family-friendly copycat recipes:

Cinnabon Clone
I first had Cinnabon when my husband was stationed in Ft. Gordon. I now miss it so much because we’re all the way up in New York and NY doesn’t have a lot of things. This is definitely my favorite cinnamon roll recipe.

Almost White Castle Hamburgers
Or Almost Krystal Hamburgers – what I really love about this recipe is that you can make a huge batch and freeze a portion of them. This makes for a great, quick snack or meal when you are on the go.

Copycat McDonald’s Cheeseburgers
My husband actually did not believe me when I told him that these tasted identical to McDonald’s and then was completely blown away. He is still in awe when he eats them.

Copycat Taco Bell Chicken Quesadilla
I don’t know if I have bad luck with TB or what, but every time I’ve gotten my favorite – a quesadilla – in the last few years, it’s not made very well. It’s got too little filling, too much sauce, doesn’t taste good, etc. I like being able to create my favorite at home; the right way!

Kinda Like Chick-fil-A Sandwiches
Ah, the king of all copycats: the revered Chick-fil-A sandwich. It’s safe to say this is my favorite of copycats and a pretty popular one floating around other blogs and on Pinterest. You can also make this into the nuggets!

  1. Yum,the Almost Taco Bell Chicken Quesadilla's!! I loved Taco Bell when I was growing up in the USA. I have lived in Australia for over 28 years and I so miss real Mexican style food. We use to go to Taco Bell when we lived in CA many years ago.
I am a huge cinnamon roll fan! That is another food that you can't get here in Australia!
I have to try some of these recipes. I can feel like I am back in the US....

I love reading your comments. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and respond. :)
