Weekend Round-Up {1-12-13}

What a week! I am actually kind of glad it's over. I am hoping to find some down time this weekend to relax and just breathe. Do you ever have weeks like that? There is always a million things to do ... and I swear, never enough time to do it all. Maybe the ability to just chill during the holiday's hasn't been shaken yet and we just have to get back into the swing of things?! I don't know .... Here's to a better week :)

In case you missed anything going on this week, you can find it all here:

Y'all ..... Evelyn and I had 157 bloggers link-up to Let's Get Social Sunday this week! It's only our second week, but I am loving all these new blogs we are finding! We had a wonderful co-host, Tammy from Deja Vue Designs. If you're interested in finding new blogs and making new friends, be sure to stop by on Sunday - 6 am EST - to join us :)

For this week's Menu Plan Monday, we had a few things carry over from last week. We tried a new soup on Wednesday. It was a cross between a chili and a vegetable soup and my family declared it a winner! The recipe will be coming to the blog in the future :) Our other meals were tried and true. I am still working on next week's menu .... and I really need to get my butt in gear since my shopping day is Saturday morning. ;)

All My Bloggy Friends #28 is still live and going strong. If you'd like to link up, there's still time. It closes tonight at 11:59 pm EST. Feel free to drop by and check out some of the awesomeness already linked up!

Bean Tostadas ..... It doesn't get much easier than this, folks! Seriously, you can have dinner on the table in 15 minutes!

Thursday, I had a guest post over at Pamela's Heavenly Treats. I shared my easy, no-cook Peanut Butter Balls. Tasty, tasty, tasty and it satisfies those chocolate and peanut butter cravings! ;)

Yesterday, I shared this Pico de Gallo ...... It's my go to recipe when I want fresh flavors fast! It's great with all of your Mexican recipes, put some on your scrambled eggs or just stick some tortilla chips in it! Ya can't go wrong with this wonder Salsa Fresco!

Five things I pinned this week:
   Strawberries and Cream Bundt Cake using Jell-o from Chocolate, Chocolate and More Chocolate
   Conversation Heart Cocoa from Smart School {House}
   Sea Salt Sprinkled Caramels from Posed Perfection
   Cheddar Cheese Soup with Homemade Bread from Table {for} Seven
   Mexican Picadillo Tacos from Chewin' the Fat In the Kitchen

Most pinned post this week: Slow Cooker Chicken Posole

Most popular post this week: Kit-Kat Cake

Biggest referring site this week: Google

I hope you enjoy! Shared at these fun parties!

  2. Those peanut butter balls look fantastic! I'll save that for summer, when it's too hot to turn on my oven. Awesome :)

I love reading your comments. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and respond. With so many no-reply comments, it has become nearly impossible to repsond via email. I try to answer all of my readers in the comment section, and you may not be notified that I have responded. If you would like to see my response, you will need to come back and check the post!
